Where else can you feel the textures of the locally and lovingly created, hand thrown vases and platters that are ablaze with light and colour such as copper reds, cobalt blues and violets?

Many of the ceramic pieces are 'one offs' or limited editions and come with their own certificates, stamps and artists signatures. Many Grayshott designs also feature in prestigious galleries around the UK and adorn some lovely homes too.

See the new limited edition designs, such as Sunflower and Oriental Poppy that are hand drawn and painted onto toucan jugs or onto the clean lines of a straight edged vase.

Craftsmen in action
While you are at Grayshott Pottery, you may see craftsmen hand throwing on the wheel in the studio – driving air from lumps of spinning clay to produce spectacular – almost liquid creations. Just ask for information when you visit or call 01428 604404.

The café overlooks the artist’s studio and this is usually in use during weekdays (workshop hours) and during selected weekends.
